Couple Welcomes ‘One In 200 Million’ Identical Triplets — Now They Have 4 Kids Under Two

When a young couple found out they were expecting, they never could have anticipated just how miraculous and life-changing the birth of their babies would be. Ellie Dudfield, 21, and Billy Revell, 20, were already parents of a beautiful little girl when they found out that they were going to be welcoming a few more additions to their family; Dudfield was pregnant with triplets!

However, the pregnancy was a unique one, as the triplets were able to defy the odds. The family from Kettering, Northampton, was told that there was less than a 50% chance of survival for the three boys. In fact, they were a one in 200 million chance.

On June 30, 2021, Dudfield and Revell welcomed their identical triplets into the world, a full 12 weeks earlier than expected. It was an emotional ride as the newborns experienced some health problems. The parents never lost hope though and were ready to take on the full responsibilities of being parents to multiple children.

Fortunately, the happy couple is now thriving with their four children, which includes daughter Lola and their three triplet boys — Archie, Albie and Arthur. It hasn’t been easy and it’s taken a lot of time and effort to save up enough money to raise all four kids to the best of their abilities, but Dudfield and Revell are happy to have such a wonderful family.

Dudfield and Revell are now the parents of four children all under the age of 2. It’s safe to say that their life has been pretty unusual thus far, but has also been filled with many blessings.

In an Instagram post from June 30, 2021, Dudfield and Revell marveled at the birth of their beautiful baby boys, Archie, Albie and Arthur, who were born just minutes apart from each other. They were very small, weighing less than 3 pounds each, and were born via emergency cesarean section 12 weeks earlier than expected.

“Their lungs are very immature so all require additional help with ventilators and are having some issues with their blood pressure,” Dudfield explained. Fortunately, they were stable and whisked off to the NICU. “It was an emotional rollercoaster as they were so up and down,” Dudfield told The Sun.

According to The Sun, the parents were told that the boys had just a 40 percent chance of survival. However, they defied the “one in 200 million” odds and finally returned home in September 2021. The family is doing well and is incredibly happy as the parents adjust to the life of raising four children all under the age of 2.

“We obviously don’t have the typical life of other people our age,” Dudfield said. “It is hard but we’ve always been family oriented so we have made it work.” She and Revell had started saving after she found out she was pregnant with Lola. The family now goes through about 25 diapers and 18 bottles of formula a day.

They upgraded their car to fit the whole crew and fortunately had previously purchased a three-bedroom house, big enough for the whole family. Now, the parents focus on balancing their time to make sure all of their children receive their fair share of attention. “Billy and I absolutely love it,” Dudfield said. “But we have no plans on having another baby!”
